About the Meeting

The 10th Batch SEA-Teacher Evaluation Meeting welcomes both current participants from Batch 10 and new or interested institutions planning to join Batch 11. This hybrid gathering serves as a platform to review key takeaways from the current cycle, prepare for the next, and foster connections across the SEA-Teacher Network. While attending is not required for joining Batch 11, it offers valuable insights and collaboration opportunities.

Note: Invitation letters will be sent on 19 May and 16 June 2025.

The invitation letter contains the details of the event, bank account details for the meeting package payment and the link to the Confirmation Form. Once you have transferred the meeting fee to the account provided, and your flight and accommodation are booked, please proceed to complete the Confirmation Form provided in the invitation letter to officially confirm your onsite participation. All onsite participants are required to complete the Confirmation Form.

Onsite Participants

Fee: USD 60 / IDR 1,000,000 per participant
Includes:

  • Lunch & coffee breaks (5–6 August)
  • Dinner on 5 August
  • Airport transfer (4–7 August from/to Juanda International Airport only)
  • Free local transportation from several hotels within a 1-kilometer radius to the venue

✈️ Nearest airport: Juanda International Airport (SUB)
🏨 Meeting Venue: Algoritma Auditorium, Building G, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM), Universitas Brawijaya
🏨 Participants book their own accommodation. Suggested accommodations:

  • UB Guest House : A modest guest accommodation located within the Universitas Brawijaya campus. It is approximately 750 meters from the Algoritma Auditorium in Universitas Brawijaya (venue of the event) and takes about 10 minutes to walk.
  • Swiss-Belinn Malang : A comfortable 3-star hotel, located near two popular malls: Malang Town Square and Transmart. It is about 1 kilometer away or a 14-minute walk to the venue.
  • Trix House
  • Ubud Cottages Malang
  • Aria Gajayana Hotel

🎭 Tentative Cultural Visit (optional)

Participants may choose one of the following:

  • Bromo Tour – A scenic trip to Mount Bromo with a small additional fee, payable in IDR cash. More details will be provided to confirmed participants.
  • Complimentary City Tour – A guided sightseeing tour by bus, sponsored by Universitas Brawijaya and the Malang City Government, taking participants to several iconic landmarks around Malang.

Note: These activities run concurrently. Participants are advised to choose one, and those with evening flights on 6 August are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Change of Attendance from Online to Onsite

If you wish to change your participation from online to onsite, please kindly complete the Request for Invitation Letter Form first. Once you have made the payment, booked your flight, and filled in the Confirmation Form (linked in the invitation letter), kindly send us an email (seateacher@seameo.org) to notify us that you have completed the Confirmation Form and would like to cancel your previous online attendance registration.

Request for Additional Onsite Participants

Due to venue capacity limitations, each institution is initially allocated two onsite participant slots. However, we encourage you to submit all participant information via the Invitation Letter Form. Once we have a complete overview of the total number of confirmed onsite participants, we will reassess the capacity. If space permits, we will gladly accommodate your request for additional participants.
